The People Have Blue FacesMommy and daddy hold your hands  as they flip the switch  and fire up the chair,  your punishment for the truth  and these hidden lies untold,  for staying clean and sober  and remember how to smile,  for being this side of the norm.

The Art of LivingI sing in the dark  with my eyes wide open,  alone in a locked room  with my heart bleeding out  rainbow colors and candy hearts,  metaphors in textbook margins  and dreams of monochrome skies,  futures read in burning bones  and pretty, broken things that  cut deep before you touch.   
I sing until my throat is raw  and my voice is hoarse,  until my heart is dry  and my blood is gone,  splashed across these walls.   
I sing until I am empty,  until I have nothing left to give,  and, for these moments,  I feel alive. The Art of Living

Proper Party EtiquetteShe mixed a bottle of rat poison into the birthday cake. Thick globs of chocolate icing concealed the taste and all the children had seconds with ice cream drenched with strawberry syrup and industrial strength drain cleaner. She needled each adult into a piece of their own, leftovers for the rest of the family back home. Games were played, present were opened, more cake was eaten. Not a slice was left by the time noses started to run, blood as red as the decorative icing roses. Panic followed, so many bleeding nostrils and crying children and frightened, jittering parents in one room.

gah!! MELISSA JOSHLIN!!! I hearby still dub u my most bestest friend and future made of honor >.< I know i did nothing wrong 2 make u mad at me or the rest of us >.< If u dont want 2 be our friend anymore than fine....be a ass about it -,- keep ignoring everything we send u. But just know that we will always be your most bestest friends and no one will ever stop our friendship with u...we are all srry for not calling u the whole summer! if thats the case of ur meaness 2 us....summer is a busy time and we all cant help it for not calling heck i didnt even have ur newest number....if ur getting annoyed with my msging than just spam me or something 2 give me a hint oks.....but i know something is up with u and the rest of us, cause u ignore all my msgs but u didnt bother 2 ignore that melonhead which was btw a account daniel made so we could see if u were still alive. And all those comments werent fake they were all true we all loved ur work and were curious. Ur one of the most best poets out in this world melissa......plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz!!!!!! Just respond 2 one thing we send 2 u dont just disapear on us......if I knew u were gonna ditch us one day i would have never cried the day u left fresno.....thats how sad i was about u leaving melissa. Hello!!!! I'm bored and I'm having a writers block, and since I dont have many friends on this site I was just stopping by 2 say whats up. How is your poem writing going? Where do u hail from lol I Hail from CALI! wow I'm very bored...hey i never knew u could hide comments? hah! Thats one way from keeping my freakish ex from staulking me on another site...the guy always seems 2 find me lol u having the same probs? probably not lol well I'm going 2 go try 2 write again laters!
